These are ranges, not a quotation. We itemise every line before you pay a deposit.

What moves the number

  • How much of the existing unit has to come out before anything goes in.
  • Carpentry run — the metre-length of built-ins is usually the single biggest line.
  • Material grade: laminate against veneer, quartz against sintered stone.
  • Wet works. Moving a kitchen or a bathroom is structural, not cosmetic.
  • Building management rules — permits, deposits, and the hours you're allowed to work.

    Week 1

    Consultation & site visit

    We measure the unit, talk through how you actually live in it, and set a realistic budget before any drawing starts.

  2. Rolled drawings beside stone samples, fabric swatches and brass handles on a timber table

    Weeks 2 – 4

    Design & itemised quotation

    Layouts, 3D views and a line-by-line quotation. You sign off on drawings and numbers together, not separately.

  3. Cabinetry and wall panelling going in against fresh plaster, with a butler sink set in place

    Weeks 5 – 12

    Build, managed

    Hacking, wet works, carpentry, electrical and finishing — sequenced by one coordinator, with progress updates you don't have to ask for.

  4. A finished corner at handover — an olive panelled wall, a framed painting and a console table with a lamp

    Handover & defect period

    Joint inspection, snag list, cleaning, and a written defect liability period that starts the day you get the keys.

Anith Design Studio is a design and build interior firm working out of Ampang, Selangor. We handle space planning, interior detailing and project management for homeowners taking vacant possession, families renovating a place they already live in, and small offices and retail lots fitting out.
